As the month of June quickly approaches, it’s time to start thinking about your TBR for the month. In the announcement post, we mentioned a few places where you can find books written by Muslim authors, but we also wanted to create our own list of recommendations even though, between us, we haven’t read the majority of books on it. As always, this list is not exhaustive. We actually had to narrow it down!
We also tried to include books from across a range of genres and therefore this will be one half of a two-part post. Here, you’ll find recommendations for middle-grade, young adult and adult fiction. If you’re interested in non-fiction, poetry or graphic novels, you can find a list of these over on Zoya’s blog.
Many of the authors on this list have multiple works, which couldn’t all be listed for obvious reasons, so by clicking on the cover you will be directed to the author’s Goodreads page rather than that for the specific book.

These are our recommendations! Don’t forget to check out part two of this post for non-fiction, poetry and graphic novels. Have you read any books written by these authors? Will you be reading any of the above next month? What other books would you recommend?
